The Great Escape 2012

 

Great Escape is an incredible camp experience for students finishing 6-8th grades.  Camp will be filled with knights and maidens this year as we play crazy games, worship authentically, dig into what it means to honor others and love Jesus more, make new friends and have a ton of fun!

Cost:

$455 by May 6th

$495 after May 6th

Registration:

Download and return both permission slips and a copy of the insurance card to the church office with your $100 non-refundable deposit by May 6th!

Food:

Feed them breakfast Monday and make sure they have money for two meals on the road. All other meals are provided by Green Lake Conference Center. If your student has specific dietary needs, we can accomodate, please contact Joy.

A Day at Great Escape:

The day starts with breakfast and quiet time with God before you and your team head off to one of 3 exciting recreation field: Lake Rec, Field Rec and Field X! These games are incredibly creative and uniquely fun! After Rec we'll feed you lunch before Afternoon Session and small group.  Free time gives you tons of options for fun: crafts, soccer/volleyball/basketball tournaments, uno/chess tournaments, paddle boats, banana tubing, hiking, swimming and more.  The evening includes dinner, the Evening Session and family time (time for ZPC students to get together).

Things to bring:

medievel clothes, Bible, pen or pencil, toiletries, bathing suit (one piece ladies!), swimming towel, clothing (pack for extreme temps and please be modest), several outfits of old clothes (that can get dirty!!!!!!), waterproof sun block,  water bottle (very important!!), good tennis shoes, sunglasses, watch, 3 cans of foam shaving cream (collected at ZPC– do not pack in bag!!!), camera (optional), spending money (t-shirts, CDs, snacks, 2 meals on the road etc), white shirt to tie-dye (optional)

Things NOT to bring:

Cell phones (unless ONLY used to call home at free time!!!), iPODs or electronic devices, tobacco products, drugs, alcohol, weapons, skateboards, firecrackers, laser pointers
