What does it mean to be spiritually mature? Paul insists that it includes mastery of one of life's most difficult balancing acts: helping another person see and acknowledge reality, but doing so in such a way that he or she feels loved and encouraged, not judged or diminished. Speaking the truth in love is one of the marks that we have left spiritually infancy behind and are growing into the fulness of imitating our Lord.
