ZPC’s one-year commitment to the Radical Experiment calls every one of us to read – week by week and verse by verse – the entire Bible over the course of one year. (Looking for Bible reading plans? Check this page out!) This is almost certainly the most valuable way for any of us to connect with God. Just as there is virtue in taking in the whole landscape of Scripture over a 12-month period, there are countless treasures to be found just by lingering over a few words and phrases in the Bible.
This blog, This Week in the Word, is a new pastoral column that will take us – week by week and verse by verse – through Philippians. Why Philippians? Paul writes with a spirit of joy, and the deeper we go into this letter the harder it is not to get caught up in the apostle’s contagious hope and confidence. So be sure to check here weekly for new installments.
