Imagine the transforming power of men coming together from our church and community to honestly examine our lives and take the courageous steps necessary to embrace authentic manhood on a journey to become who God intends us to be. That is the goal of Men’s Fraternity. When men connect in life-changing ways, a powerful ripple effect touches families, workplaces, and the church. Deeper connections with God and other men inspire participants to connect more meaningfully in all facets of their lives. They climb beyond the walls of isolation and aspire to a biblical viewpoint marked by integrity, boldness, and compassion. Through this powerful series, men learn to reject passivity, accept responsibility, lead courageously, and expect God’s greater reward.

Nehemiah Bible Study

Join Jim Livengood as he moves the focus of his class to the study of the last book of the Old Testament. Nehemiah is a record of the third return to Jerusalem after captivity, describing how the walls were rebuilt, adversaries were defeated, and how the people were reunited politically and restored in their faith.

Marriage by the Book Class

Each week for ten weeks, couples meet to discuss topics from both the husband’s and wife’s points of view looking at the big texts from the Bible about marriage and relationships. With the teacher, couples share insights learned about themselves and their relationship through the teaching for that week.

New Seeds of Contemplation Class

The Christian Spiritual Formation class begins its new study in January. Join us as we study together the classic writings of Thomas Merton. We will be using the short meditations presented in Merton’s acclaimed New Seeds of Contemplation. Through these chapters our class will continue to learn and discuss the Christian contemplative tradition and the far reaches of our own souls as we journey toward Christ as individuals and community. Books are available free, but a donation of $10 is suggested to help offset costs.
