At the Shalom House, our mission is to inspire and nurture the community of Boone County by sharing meals and encouragement. Our vision is to feed our community so that one day, no one will experience hunger. With your help and continued support, this grand vision can become a reality. Kids don’t have to be hungry anymore. Neighbors don’t have to be isolated from neighbors anymore. Our community is changing, and it’s changing for the better.
Ways to be Involved:
• Assist serving our meals at the Shalom House on Tuesday night or Saturday noon.
• Pack lunches and/or distribute at various sites with the Kids Sack Lunch Program.
• Clean, landscape, provide other professional services.
