Moments with Mark | Saturday
Time: 9:30 am – 1:30 pm
Moments with Mark is an opportunity to ponder afresh portions of Mark’s Gospel—with reflection and depth.
Open to all, high school and beyond, and one need not have participated previously to share in the next unfolding glimpse into Jesus’ ministry. Given that in the first half of his Gospel Mark has addressed and profoundly answered the question: Who is Jesus; in the second half of his Gospel, he makes a significant if not radical shift: Jesus now lives what it means to be “Christ” and “Son of Man,” for His cross looms before Him and His disciples.

Our mode of study is reading the text and answering inductive questions, and moments of interactive dialogue. For our study we use Stan’s working resource: The Great Opening: Mark 1-8.
