At ZPC, we believe the next generation matters! NextGen seeks to create a safe, fun, and welcoming environment where our children experience the love of Christ and grow as his disciples. We strive to make sure our children are seen, known, and loved by the volunteers and each other in our ministry spaces through carefully crafted activities and social opportunities. Each element of the NextGen program is focused on developing lifelong disciples with a resilient faith and preparing them to be sent out into our broken world and bring others to Christ through service, relationship, and invitation.
We take seriously the call to love and care for our covenant children and students, helping them discover who God is and how deeply they are loved. Our passion is to partner with families—walking alongside parents and caregivers as together we help kids and students grow in faith, build meaningful friendships, and connect with the larger ZPC community.
Throughout the year, NextGen offers a variety of events to extend biblical learning, facilitate social interactions with other ZPC NextGen families, and create opportunities to welcome in the greater community. Some of these events include: ministry-level social events, Vacation Bible School, Momentum middle school camp, Daddy Daughter Dance, Back to Bethlehem Christmas experience, ministry-wide social outings, Third Grade Bible Dedication, Youth Inquirers program in middle school, Easter-focused activities and Lent reading challenges, The Great Escape summer camp, a high school mission trip, and much more.
To create spaces that fit each stage of development, our NextGen Ministry is made up of four groups: Littles, Bigs, MSM (Middle School Ministry), and HSM (High School Ministry). Each offers unique opportunities to learn, serve, and experience the joy of following Jesus.
