Retreat Activities
Here is information for some amazing activities for Saturday afternoon, August 20. If you plan to canoe, play golf, or go horseback riding, please reserve your spot ahead of time. Some activities have an additional cost. Sign up at the ACR table in the Gathering Space on Sundays or by contacting Mike and Kara Crabb (canoeing/kayaking) or Ed Darling (golf).
Canoeing/Kayaking
6 mile trip--approximately 3 hrs.
Cost: $25/canoe or $20/kayak

Horseback Riding/ Pony Rides
Call Turkey Run Stable directly to book reservations [765.597.2280].
3-mile trail ride is 50 minutes long.
Cost is $25/person (8 yrs and older); Credit Card is $26.
Pony Rides (7 yrs old and under) – Parent led at the barn.
Cost is $5 cash or $6 credit card.
Hiking (No Cost)
Are you up for exploring deep gorges, walking across suspension bridges, and discovering natural arches and rocky hollows? If so, Turkey Run State Park, one of the oldest parks in Indiana, has you covered! Strap on your hiking boots and use this Turkey Run Hiking Trails Map to get started.
