Today's Scripture: Matthew 26:14-16

Today's passage is about Judas and Jesus. Judas is presented an opportunity to trade Jesus in to a priest in exchange for silver. In the passage It was not right that Judas betrayed Jesus. Disciples are dedicated believers of Jesus and God. Which makes you think a decision like this would be a no brainer. Some may say that because Judas betrayed him so much and that he isn't a true follower. Yes, betraying Jesus was the wrong thing to do; it was selfish and unholy. But it is important to remember that all people make mistakes, big and small, including followers of Christ. Though sin is wrong and unholy, it is important to remember that Jesus died for all sin. There is SOO much bad in the world. It is very easy to focus on the bad and negative. But we all have to pay attention to all of the good in the world especially in this pandemic. Just think about the simple things–the flowers blooming, the sky getting less gray, and the weather warming up! Those are just three simple and vey general things that are positive. Take time during your day when talking to God and thank him for the glory he has provided each and every one of us.

The truth is, in some cases It's easy to “choose the silver,” fall into evil and what the devil wants. Being able to choose Jesus is ALWAYS the answer! He is SO SO good. He loves us all more than we know. Let's remember that and get excited to celebrate his resurrection!

Prayer:

Dear God,
Thank you for all the good.
Allow us to go to you all times of the day especially in this hardship. You are so good. Please allow us to see that every single day. We pray for everybody's safetyThank you for the sunshine, birds in the sky, and the beautiful people at ZPC.
Amen
