Our call is to look more like Jesus.

One way to do this is to learn more about God in community with others. Please consider the following groups, classes, and events that ZPC is offering.

Adults

ZPC Home Groups are the most effective way to build relationships through discussing and applying the sermon scripture, and praying and serving together.

Our groups meet for three sessions each year. [Sept 14-Nov 16; Jan 11-March 15 and April 5-May 17].

Contact Scott or Sally to see how you can get connected with a group!

Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) Mondays | 6:50-8:30 pm

BSF members spend time in personal bible study during the week with questions that prompt deeper thought. Once a week they meet for small group discussion

This year’s study, Exile and Return, invites you on a powerful journey through the Old Testament, where God’s people were called to build His kingdom in a foreign land. Their story is our story—we, too, are strangers in a broken world, called to build for His glory. As we explore how God equips and positions His people, we’re challenged to ask: Am I building my life for Christ? Exile and Return reminds us that our time to build is now.  Books included in this year’s study: Ezekiel, Daniel, Ezra, Esther, Haggai, Zechariah, Nehemiah, and Malachi.

Join us on Monday evenings or find other class days and times, by going to joinbsf.com.

THINKING BIBLICALLY | SUNDAYS | 9:15 AM | ROOM 201

Very regularly in John’s Gospel, in fact approximately 44 times, Jesus identified Himself as “the Sent One,” or as “the One sent by His Father.” Although he was also identified as “Lord,” “Son of God,” and “Messiah,” most certainly he understood himself as sent, as "The Sent One."

With this view in mind, we will delve into John’s Gospel, consistently asking: To whom was Jesus sent? What message did he bear? And, how will we, as his disciples, apply: “Just as the Father has sent me, so I send you”?

This class is for all who want to grow more deeply in Christ, particularly as we give careful, dialogical thought to Jesus’ words. Or stated differently: Through the Spirit of Christ, we seek to be so shaped by the scriptures, in order that we might live and think faithfully in a world shaped by forces alien to the scriptures.

One need not have shared in any of our previous discussions and/or classes. All are welcome, middle school and beyond.
