What is a College of Elders and Deacons meeting on January 10 gathered leaders–both past and present–to share information, discuss important issues, and lift our congregation to God in prayer. The media links to the audio from this meeting is availble at the right.
2012 promises to be a busy year at ZPC as we will be undertaking:
- Discernment over the change in ordination standards within the PC(USA), which will result in a congregational vote to amend our by-laws in February
- Development of an eight-year strategic plan
- Discernment of our continued affiliation with the PC(USA)
- Beginning of the process to search for an installed senior pastor
All the while we cannot be distracted from carrying out our mission: “…make disciples and release them for service in our broken world.”
